West Japan Heavy Rainfall Disaster – Child Trauma Relief

OpSAFE International prepares to provide Japan child trauma relief in response to its worst weather disaster in decades.

OpSAFE International is preparing for a one-year project to help the children of Japan. We would like to equip local churches in each of the communities affected to bring hugs, help and hope to children who have been through a traumatic experience.

Our goals are to,

1) Hold an OpSAFE child trauma camp in 50 affected communities.

2) Train 500 volunteers in Psychological First Aid.

3) Help 2,500 children recover from disaster trauma.

As you can see on the map, most of these communities have one or two Christian churches. Our strategy is to help these churches to effectively help children.

Pray with us! Volunteer! Give!
